Cruelty.
Turning awareness into action. While the name Cruelty marks a somber reality, its purpose is now one of hope. All sales for this color will be donated directly to animal protection services to help fight for a kinder world.
I didn’t create this red because it’s pretty. I created it because I couldn’t stop thinking about the world.
This red isn’t love. It’s not romance. It’s not aesthetic. It’s the feeling in your chest when you read the news and just sit there for a second… quiet.
It makes me think about the people who are still just humans legally, emotionally, spiritually but are treated like they’re disposable. Shot. Taken. Hurt. Handcuffed. Silenced. And somewhere, a family is left trying to understand how their whole world changed in one moment.
That blue shimmer in between? That’s the bruise. The mark that stays after violence. The kind that doesn’t fade quickly. The kind that lives in memories, in trauma, in entire communities.
Sometimes I feel stuck thinking about it. Like my heart doesn’t know what to do with all that heaviness.
It scares me how normal cruelty is starting to feel. How easy it is to scroll past someone else’s pain. How quickly we move on.
There are people out there who look for the weak. The separated. The vulnerable. And that thought honestly hurts.
But I also know something else.
The art community has always had soft hearts. We feel deeply. We care loudly. We show up for each other.
So maybe this color isn’t just red. Maybe it’s a reminder. To check in. To protect each other. To stop being silent. To be human again.
If this speaks to you, share it. Someone out there needs to feel supported. Someone needs to know they’re not alone.
Cruelty exists. But so do we.
And I’m choosing us. ✨
